Drama.

We will co-host Brideview Players in their production of ‘Da’ in the Community Centre on Friday 30^th January. Tickets are on sale from the school or any member of staff. As this production contributes towards our school we would ask as many as possible to support it. We thank Pat Melody and Jim Ryan for again bringing Brideview to our locality and the proceeds will be distributed between Ballymacarbry Tidy Towns, the Community Centre Committee and our school.

 

Catholic Schools’ Week.

On Wednesday next we will celebrate Grandparents’ Day. There will be a public mass in FMW Church at 10 am followed by some refreshments back in the school immediately afterwards. All are welcome. ” A grandparent may have silver in their hair but gold in their heart.” – Unknown. Tickets for ‘Da’ will be on sale after mass in the School Hall on Wednesday next. €15

 

Enrolment.

Our enrolment process remains open and will continue to do so until the end of February. After that parents will be contacted as regards completing Form 2. Our Open Afternoon is planned for Wednesday 3^rd June 2026 at 2pm. Please pass this information on to those who may be interested in enroling with us. Sacramental Preparation.

This weekend all pupils due to receive sacraments in the Nire are asked to be present for 11 am mass on Sunday. Please follow instructions as given by Mrs Coffey & Mrs Byrne.

 

School Calendar.

A revised school calendar (hard copy) was issued to all families yesterday. Please discard the previous one, as there are amendments. These being in-service day notifications for both February and May.
